Can you tell me, if I back up a Maximizer installation to prepare for the reformatting of a computer, will all information and preferences relating to the users back up as well. I.E. I have Max 9 set so that both users can see each others appointments at the same time.

or is it the Data only that backs up?

Cheers!

Some individual user preferences are saved to the user's area of the Windows registry (HKEY_CURRENT_USER). These will not be included in a Maximizer backup. Just off the top of my head, some examples would be toolbar locations, window locations/fonts/colours, and so on.

However, recent versions of Maximizer have been moving toward storing more user preferences in the database, and those will be backed up.

This is not so much a question of user "preferences" as it is a question of user "permissions" for that specific address book. Such information is definitely stored in the database.
