Hi all, I am a newbie in Maximizer CRM. My company is using Max 9.5. Having learned the Max data structure in SQL Server 2005, has anyone been able to insert or update address book directly in Database level using T-SQL (e.g. INSERT or UPDATE)? If this is not possible, can you explain why? I found that the import function is very limited, and if I were to use the advanced import I need to create an XMI or XML file which is difficult to create for normal users. Thanks.

Hi there. You should not be updating data direct into the Maximizer tables as this is not the supported route. You can update using the views that relate to each table as these ensure that various other related areas are updated correctly. If you requirement is for more flexible importing then you may wish to take a look at Max Feed on our webiste ( CABC Ltd) which offers a number of advanced import facilities for a variety of formats and import methods.
