I have Maximizer 8 enterprise SQL installed. Now want to install the synchronization server (AKA Maxexchange) as well. During the installation, it wants to install Pervasive V2000, without pervasive it won't install.

My question: It's a bit strange that i need Pervasive engine while i have Maximizer 8 SQL. Is there another way (is there a 8 version of Synchonization Server SQL??).
Normally it isn't a problem to install Pervasive V2000. But i have already 2 applications wich are using Pervasive V8. V2000 only installs when V8 is deinstalled......

Please help.

No. MaxExchange requires Pervasive.SQL.

Does is work with Maximizer Enterprise 8 SQL, while MaxExchange is Pervasive SQL?

Yes. MaxExchange requires P.SQL even if the main database server is MS_SQL. (Sorry if my previous response was misleading.)
