I am running on Windows XP with Office 2007.
I tried to install Maximizer 10 Entrepenuer Edition and am unable to get the installation part for MS Office integration to work as I get an error message: Error 1606 unable to access c:\program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Startup When I talk to Maximizer, they tell me that this is a Microsoft issue and I should talk to them. To me this is an unacceptable position as what do I know about this stuff and what would I say to Microsoft? Maximizer have finally told me that it may be a problem with the Registry when upgrading versions of Office. They have not offered to help solve what I believe is a problem with their software. Anyone have any ideas? Anyone experience the same problem? Thanks in advance. |

Hi.
I upgraded to Max 10 Entrepenuer on my computer which uses Vista and has Office 2007 back in May. Office Integration worked fine until last week. Now, Outlook no longer is integrated with Maximizer. That is, the Maximizer tabs are no longer visible on the Outlook Tab Bar. After referring to pages 188-189 of the User's Guide and confirming the proper settings, I've contacted Tech Support and they're checking into it (after referring me to this Forum). Check the above pages out and confirm your initial installation of Maximizer installs both the Outlook and Word Integration. I'm not certain how it works with XP, but you can review in in the Control Panel's Remove/Change Programs tab. Good luck! David Z. |

One thing that might be worth looking at in this case is the Outlook Trust Centre, if Outlook runs into a problem with an addin it can automatically disable it.
If you look in the Trust Centre you can see a list of addins and see which are enabled or disabled, it might be that your Maximzier Addin is disabled and you just need to re-enable it. |

I would concur about the MS Office Trust option.
I've noticed that on some edition of Maximizer(version 10) the Macro Verisign Certificate had expired. I talked with our BP Support @ Maximizer and got this below, which repaired the issue. "Try removing the macro and then going back into Outlook. See if the errors still occur or if Maximizer will attempt to replace the macro. If it does attempt to replace it, then a window will appear saying ‘an unsigned or expired macro’ – or something like that. Select the ‘always trust’ option. If that doesn’t work, go to add/remove programs and modify the Maximizer install. Remove the Outlook integration portion of it, continue with the uninstallation and then after it completes, re-add the integration" untitled.bmp (277 Kb, Pending Moderation) Verisign Expiry |

CABC is correct. The Trust Center was the issue (at least in Outlook 2007). See my reply in the Product Features section.
