We need to decide which direction to go - experiences, opinions and recommendations welcome.

I'm familiar with Linking's potential referential integrity issues (someone deletes the external file, etc.) but not with the effects on performance of significant volumes of Inserted vs. Linked files. Other issues include how much we can use MS Word vs Maximizer's word processor (MS Word can link easily to Address Book entries but Inserting Word files is a manual operation, where Maximizer's word processor is limited in power but inserts directly into Address Book entries really easily.).

Anything I've missed?

Stats :
- Pervasive DB
- 10 user maximum
- Using Terminal Servies for remote users
- Number of documents/Address Book entry varies (on the order of 1-2000+ records with 2 or 3 documents each, plus a few hundred records with 20-30+ or more documents each)

Thanx - R.

Just as an FYI for anyone else wrestling with this, check on the PDF on CABC's site describing the installation of their MaxDoc add-on. The table of pros & cons is excellent - hats off to them!
