After installing Max Entrepreneur 10 and upgrading my 9.1 database to version 10, I now get five consecutive dialogue boxes whenever I start Windows XP SP2. The boxes say: "Please select a DSN for directory (my main database directory). After I have selected yes 5 times a dialogue box flashes on the screen for less than a second and Windows finishes its startup procedures. Max CRM Entrepreneur 10 runs ok and no other problems are evident. ANY ideas on how to correct this?
Thanks. Dan P. Beckner |

Thanks for all the help folks!!!
Accidently found the answer today: When you upgrade from Max 9.1 or earlier, Max Entrepreneur 10 does not delete the data file from the "applications data" directory. BUT, the program now uses the MS SQL directory to store SQL data files. Can't find that in any of the literature, but it is a fact. With the old data file still in place you can get the error I mentioned. Dan P. Beckner |
