I use Maximizer 8 Enterprise and also have Microsoft Exchange 2003. I wanted to use Maximizer to dump all my calender events to outlook 2003 which it is suppose to do, the probem is when I make an appointment in maximizer it puts in in to outlook 2003 but when I delete or change the appointment in maximizer it does not make the change or delete it if required. I noticed if I go into outlook and change the send incomming email to personal folders it works great, the only problem is I need it to point to my mail box Paul Seidman which is on the exchange server otherwise my webaccess does not work for outlook which is a issue, does any one know how to get the integration to work with people who use exchange.

Welcome to the flakey world of the Microsoft Office Calendar Synchronisation (MOCI)!!!
This function has been slightly cagey for years, you are lucky to have it functioning one way. Its very tempremental, will not synch one way or the other and not both, and sometimes not at all. You will also notice if you place an appointment in another users calendar it will actually end up in you own Outlook Calendar. Multiple user appointments are also an issue. Due to its inconsistency we do dont promote it as a feature and state to any customers that we cannot guarantee it functioning 'as advertised'. I understand Maximizer are in the process of re-writing the MOCI function from scratch for its next release (v.9) |
