We recently moved Maximizer 8 from an old server to a new one. When we did we paid for 3hrs of Maximizer support and they did the majority of the reinstall. After the reinstall and fresh installation of all the users only 3 out of 14 can save email messages or other documents to address book entries. Each user was set up the same way, a complete uninstall and a reinstall along with matching preferences selections, yet the majority can not perform the save action. When they save the messages they stay in the outlook folder instead of being deleted when two days ago these same settings deleted them from Outlook and saved them in Maximizer. Some actually appear to save but when you try to access them the error basically saying the entries was probably deleted by another user. Please any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
It qwas working, them Maximizer did the reinstall, now it's not. I'd say go back to the source - they broke it, they fix it. They wanna go direct and around their resellers they better be prepared to stand behind their work. (FYI - I'm not a reseller).
I went back to the source and they did indeed fix it for free. The Server and the clients were running different versions. I guess the person doing the remote install didn't see the Old in front of the folder name. All is well now.
