Here's a strange one.
We run Maximizer 7, 5 users with Maximizer software running on the clients and the database held on our central server. It has served us well for many years. However, one user suddenly cannot logon onto Maximizer - when he runs the program on his client machine it freezes at the blue screen with no logon screen appearing. This problem seems to be related to his user account on our server, as if another user logs on to our server through the same client PC, Maximizer will then run successfully. You can then also logon to Maximizer with the problematic users username. I'm not sure if that is all clear, but basically the problem appears not to be with Maximizer, or the users logon to Maximizer, but rather is related to his user account on our server, or something associated with this user on our server, that is preventing Maximizer starting up and presenting the usual logon screen. I've tried comparing user profiles, and looking for anything unusual about this user account, but to no avail. Any suggestions? Ian |
