When I search all fields, choose Add, and choose one particular user defined field as the criteria - it starts its search but stops with the following error message:

"A VARIABLE PAGE UNREADABLE error occured on the 'User Defined Fields' file. This error usually indicates file damage to one or more pages in the file."

When the OK button is clicked - the search continues and produces results and everything seems okay. (Can't really tell if there's anything missing.)

How can I find out what the cause of this error is?
