One User cannot open Max 10 database - something simple?

Using Max 10 with 5 users.

I have one user who cannot get to the prompt for logging into Max 10 Entrepeneur. The access is through a Terminal server, where all other users, with the same permissions, have no problem at all. The problematic user was a recently created user account.

The symptoms are that Max 10 will run, and the database is shown in the list, however when the user selects 'Open' nothing happens. The user can keep hitting 'Open' with no result. Normally you would expect the Max login window to pop up.

I imagine this is something simple, but I cannot find the answer at the moment!

Just a bit more info. If the user tries access via a local client (i.e. not through Terminal Services), the symptom remains, which suggests a permissions issue with this particular user to gain access to the Max Database, however I cannot find the issue. Any suggestions?

...and some more info. If I make the user an administrator, then everything works fine. So definitely a permissions issue, but no other client requires administrator permission. Anywhere I should be looking to resolve this?

Good Afternoon,

Maximizer Software recommend that users who will be running Maximizer are made local admins or at the very least power users.

This is because Maximizer writes a great deal of information into the users Current_User and Local_Machine registry keys and if you do not have sufficient permissions you cannot edit these registry keys.
