We have workstations running Windows XP Pro with Service Pack 2 and Outlook 2002 SP2. Every time we log in to Maximizer 8.0 Enterprise, we receive the message: "A program is trying to access e-mail addresses you have stored in Outlook. Do you want to allow this?"
According to Microsoft, you cannot prevent this message unless the synchronization software (Maximizer) is capable of "...interacting with Outlook in a trusted manner." The last Hotfix from Maximizer was over three months ago, and does not adress this. Has anyone else seen this, and have you found a workaround to eliminate this message from displaying? Has anyone else reported this to Maximizer? |

For a workaround, look here:
http://www.contextmagic.com/express-clickyes/ As for a fix, it actually was fixed back in v7.5. Check your settings in File > Preferences > E-mail Make sure that "Override Extended MAPI" is not checked and that Outlook is the selected mail client under the "Advanced..." button. |
