Ive created some basic letter templates in Word to be used by Max Doc. Along with the normal DDE codes placed in these documents each template has a header and footer containing organisational information.
If i open these templates in Word using the 'Open Max Doc' option the templates open fine, but... when using the Max Doc icon in Maximizer to open a template if i choose the 'Unsaved' option when the template opens in Word i have no header or footer displayed, Ne ideas???? |

Dasha,
If your using Max Doc there should not be any DDE codes in your document. The codes are the same as the ones for Maximizers own Word processor. Make sure your using Buttons/menus in Word with a Red Dot next to them to signify they belong to Max Doc. The latter problem may be due to the way your Normal.Dot is configured. Headers and footers do not normally do this. Are you using Word 2000? or Word 97? Ian Wallace CABC, Newbury |

I have tested this on three machines all using Word 2000.
As i said previously the header/footer will only NOT appear when i choose the 'unsaved' option when using the Max Doc button in Max. The filestore & maximizer storage areas are fine along with opening the template via Max Doc in Word. |

Can you e-mail a copy of the template (or a simpler one that shows the problem) to:
