My client uses Maximizer 9.5 (not the web app version, if there is one), with SQL Server backend, to handle a customer service call center. Due to a Federal regulation, they now need to specifically note complaints for a certain category of their products. So, in the middle of entering customer information/comments - they want a button that sends whatever data elements are on the page to another application (to avoid re-keying everything).

My question is if there is any way to 'add' a button to a form, or even track an event (say: when a user defined checkbox is selected, or a page of data is saved, etc). All this would have to do is open up a web browser, and post the appropriate data to the other application.

Any advice on where to look for a solution to this is greatly appreciated, thanks.

Good Afternoon,

This kind of development should certainly be possible within Maximizer, although it would require a considerable knowledge of how to develop software add-ons for Maximizer.

CABC offer a complete service for development of custom extensions for Maximizer, should you wish to discuss your requirements with us you can call us on +44 1635 570 970.

Thanks for the offer. It was a relatively simple change though, and I figured out what we needed just from code sample provided with Maximizer (AddressBookHook).

Not sure if you are professional services directly related to the makers of Max, but the extensibility of the app is impressive (along with a fair licensing price). Nice product, nice job on it, will recommend in the future.

Where are these code samples? Are they in the Customization Suite?
