Looking at the database I'm trying to determine the type of a user defined field(UDF). I figured out where to look, the style_id field in the User_Field_Defs table... but I don't totally understand it... It is a lot to type it all here so if you have the book look up the table... it has a high and low value, i get the first part or 'High Word' has the hex value of the type of the field but I don't understand the rest which are 'Low Words', are they adding them together or something... a few examples of how the are putting them together would be great!!!!
Thanks in Advance... dotnetme2 dotnetme |

Nevermind, figured it out.... yes they do add it together... for example, 31D in Hex is 797 in Dec.... and 797 is stored in the Style ID field in the DB.... 31D is 300 hex + 1D HEX.... the 3 or 03 is for Alphanumeric and the 1D is 29 for the length of the field...
