When trying to access the tables through Access or Report Smith, I keep getting the following message and all the cells are filled with 'error?'
[Maximizer][ODBCDriver][Btr (#5003)] [This message has been edited by eddearlove (edited 11 September 2000).] |

Are you using Access 2000?
This error message is incomplete - Access 2000 seems to do this. If you have Access 97 try connecting with it instead, you may get more information. If you have VB skills look into the rest of the error collecton for more detail. This could be internal database damage ie, an unresolvable inconsistency - or just a btrieve configuration or operational problem. Which table are you accessing? Regards, Ian Wallace CABC, Newbury |

I am using Access 2000, but I am unable to get the rest of the error message, any more advice on how to resolve would be warmly received.
It is whilst trying to access a the company table, when you try and scan through to a record towards the end. or when trying to use a query which looks at two tables, such as company and contacts. |
