I have Maximizer 9. I copy mails out of Outlook (Windows 7 with Office 2010) and into Maximizer, but when I try and do that a message comes up in Maximizer saying "Syntax error, read aborted"

So, the time consuming work around is that I have to workaround that by copy and pasting the text into the address bar of the Outlook email, and then cutting and pasting from there into the Maximizer document. This doesn't happen on an older pc running Vista business, just with the windows7

Is there a way of sorting or avoiding the "Syntax error, read aborted".

Secondly, is there a way of having the Outlook emails saved automatically to the file in Maximizer, rather than having to do it manually (I don't email directly from Maximizer, as my version 9 doesn't look very good graphics and text wise compared to using Outlook.

Any help appreciated.

I am afraid that while you may be able to overcome the difficulty you are having, the real problem is that you are using an unsupported configuration of products. To get support for Maximizer on Windows 7 with outlook 2010 you need to upgrade to the latest Maximizer Entrepreneur product.

We are often asked about automatic storing of email but I think you should be careful what you wish for, as automatic capture of email could fill your Maximizer with a lot of junk and other mail you never really wanted. Saving email in the current product is only a few clicks.

You can purchase a downloadable upgrade to the latest version of Maximizer Entrepreneur from our CRMShop

We are pleased to hear it is working for you. You will note, that I commented that you may be able to get it working. There are some issues with this configuration which you may encounter.

If it is working for you thats great. However, our point is that Maximizer 9 is not supported by the manufacturer with Windows 7 and Office 2010. As a result if you do encounter problems they may be ones for which there is no solution.
