Running MaxExchange 10 SR1 HF1 on SmallBusinessServer 2008 MaxExchange Site manager crashes at startup with an attemtp to execute code in data area. Windows reports a fault "DataExecution prevention". A reinstallation of MaxExchange did not help. What to do? We cannot sync our remotes anymore...This message has been edited. Hi there, there are a couple of things to keep in mind with relation to SBS 2008. First if you are running the 64bit version of SBS 2008 with Maximizer 10 or 10.5 Group Edition you should talk a look at this article. Second, if you are using the HTTP transport protocol for Max Exchange then you should also take a look at this article.

Thanks for your ideas, however nothing helped. I could even re-create the same crash on a clean XP32 installation with a backup of my database. Conclusion was that the database must irritate SiteManager, so the solution was to clean out all EXCH_* tables (I only left EXCH_ServerProfile untouched). Afterwords, SiteManager was clean and I could re-create the server and remotes good night Roland
