Hi Dasha
An owner within Maximzier is the person who created the entry. If you have come across a deleted owner, I'm assuming someone who is no longer with the company, then they have not been removed from the list of users. To do this go file/ preferences and as long as you are logged in as master you can remove them from the list. Regards Polly |

I think i may have not explained myself clearly.
If you go to the search menu / other / owner you will come across a owner called 'Deleted', Who & What is he/she??? I have noticed that it only seems to appear with databases with Max Exchange being used. Deleted is definitely not a user of Max!!! |

Good One Dasha,
I've seen this too and wondered.... I thought it must be a group that records were transfered into when you deleted the owner (as described above by Polly) but I've tested it its not that simple. If I work it out I'll add a post! Regards, Ian Wallace CABC, Newbury |

Sussed it
If you decided to delete a user group all the records assigned to this group are moved to this'deleted' owner so they can obviously be located at a later stage. |

Records assigned to a 'user' name i.e a private entry DO NOT get assigned to 'deleted' it will only work for deleted 'user groups'
