Hi,

I am almost certain that what I want to do can only be accomplished on the SQL backend and not directly through Max. Here is our scenario:

We have a marketing email program and we export the email addresses from Max, and import them into this special program for mass mailing purposes. Using statistics, we'd like to update the database for those users who showed interest in the emailing so that our sales team can follow up.

It would be ideal if we can run an update or insert into command and populate a UDF with the appropriate information so that our sales team and easily locate these hot leads and do their business. I'm thinking we can export the client_id with the email address for easier updating. I'm having a hard time isolating the UDF information so that I can properly populate the right fields witin the right table with the right information. Hope that makes sense. Right now I'm playing in a test enviroment so I don't break anything important. I'm willing to be very experimental. Any sugguestiong are welcome.

Thanks
