I have a new XP system, but I cannot re-install Maximizer 6.0 either from our LAN or from the CD.

The CD opens, but the installer does not start.

Any ideas please?

I have installed 6.0 on an XP box and as I recall it was no different than installing on WinNT/2K.

What happens if you try running MxSetup.exe in the Max6 folder on the CD?

For some inexpicable reason, after I disconnected from our LAN, I was able to install a trial version CD that I had lurking in a cupboard at home.

So next day, when I returned to the office, I tried again from both the real CD and the LAN - success on both counts.

So - problem apparently solved - all is currently working OK.
