We are running Maximizer 11.0 Series 2051 CRM Enterprise SR1 SP2 Build 1625.

We are runnnig MS Office 2007, with our default document file type of .docx

Yet we are receiving the error message: File extension '.docx' has no associated executable.

This seems to be occuring on only one desktop instalation.

Checking the file types associated on that one desktop we see that .docx is indeed associated with Word. Word runs without issue. Pressing the Word button in the Tools tab launches Word without issue.

Any suggestions as to why this might be happening??

From the information provided it does seem clear that the problem is in the configuration of the computer with the issue. The problem is probably in the Microsoft Office installation even though the simple tests you have carried out tend to show it is generally working correctly. I would recommend that you repair the Microsoft office installation. It is unlikely that this problem is being caused by any fault in Maximizer.
