Error Code 3006 with Maximizer Enterprise 8.0

I have an intermittant 3006 error that causes my desktop to lock up and needs re-booting. I also get an hour glass frequently as Maximizer tries to refresh.

I have a desktop running off of a server directly in the same room through a Linksys router.

Linksys contends that as long as I have access to the internet there product is working well. The network card shows as running OK as well. Maximizer support is running out of ideas as to what is causing this and believe it is just a network hardware problem. However, all other programs (Outlook, Explorer, etc.) work just fine.
