I work at a company that uses Maximizer Enterprise 5.0 very frequently. Recently we have been having problems with one of our address books. We have been getting an Error Code of 2 and 54 which have caused us to back up and restore the address book. I have found this works for a while but then it happens again. Everytime I do the back up and restore I lose about 100 or so address book entries.
I am very desperatly looking for the solution to my problems. If anyone else is having this error code problem please let me know so I can see what the similaries are between the two of us inorder to solve the problem.

Something is corrupting one (or more) of your Address Book files. The trick is to figure out what. Often it can be traced to something as simple as a flaky network card (Realtek cards have a reputation for this).

Also, if you have a large number of concurrent users and/or a large address book (rule of thumb: 10 users and/or 10,000 clients/contacts) then upgrading to client/server can make many file corruption problems go away.
