Hello there!
I found something out that some people may want to know about: I just had a user who called, complaining that his remote installation of Maximizer 7 was just hanging at the Splash Screen, and he couldn't log in for whatever reason. Checking the task manager reveals that the madata6.dat and maxwin.exe, and w3dbsmgr.exe programs are all running, but its just hung up somewhere.

I've found out that this seems to be happening because of he SP4 version of the w3dbsmgr has croaked.

The quickest fix for this problem is to uninstall the SP4 version of the Pervasive 2000 workstation engine. I was able to log in, I updated my database and exchanged with my server just fine!
