Max Enterprise 9 SQL - Estimated Close Date versus Close Date

We have recently upgraded from Max Ent 8 SQL to Max Ent 9 SQL and we have numerous Crystal Reports written originally for Max 8. We also upgraded to Crystal 11 at the same time. We appear to have found some inconsistency between what was Estimated Close Date for an In Progress Opportunity under Max 8 and Estimated Close date under Max 9.

In the case of Max Ent 9 we assume that when the Close Date is updated under the opportunity details section in an In Progress Opportunity that the new date would be presented to the Estimated Close Date Table accessible via Crystal. This does not appear to be the case (in our instance anyway).

Any suggestions ?

Also, what is the difference between :-

Close Date
Projected Close Date
User Close Date

listed under the Column set up in Opportunities. How do they relate to the fields viewable under the AMGR Opportunity Tbl which (as far as I can see) is limited to displaying only Estimated Close Date and Close Date ?

Looking forward your feedback.
