How can I move an Address Book from a PC I'm planning on disposing of to my new PC? I've tried to copy and paste, quick backup and putting the Address book in a Shared Folder, nothing seems to work. I don't want to Export to CSV or HTML because I don't want to lose my notes. Any ideas? Thanks.

What version of Maximizer are you using? With version 9 (non-Enterprise version), the data are stored in a series of individual files with the extension .SAV, .MAX, .DDF. If you find that directory of files, try copying the directory to the new computer. In Maximizer or Administrator, you'll have to File > Open then browse to the location where you pasted the files. If you copy using a CD, make sure you turn off "read only" which is a unwanted by-product of copying from a CD. If you are using CRM 10, then the data are stored in the SQL database. I just learned that today and don't know much about it yet. Good luck

Thanks Tony. With some work I was able to find the files (no .SAV), copy them to a thumb drive and move them to the new PC. I'm using V 9.x, non Enterprise. Seems to me there should be an easier way to do this however.

Yes.. the other easy way is to backup the database, then take the backup file to the new pc and restore it there.
