I am having trouble synchronizing my blackberry maxmobile with the synchronization server. (I'm setting it up for the first time.)

I have Maximizer 10 CRM, it's the group edition.

I have synchronization server installed on our company server. Our maximizer database (we only use one) is also located on that server. I followed the instructions to the letter about setting up the synchronization server, but when I try to log on, it says "HTTP Error 401: Unauthorized". The first USB connected synchronization was a success.

I have no problem with wireless web access to our maximizer database. If I go onto a web browser on my Blackberry, I can access the database, log in, make changes etc.

However, when I try to synchronize wirelessly using maxmobile, I always get the "Unauthorized: 401" message on my blackberry.

I went into IIS and made sure the permissions were not blocking any IP's, and anonymous login is not selected.

I have tried changing the blackberry specific settings for TCP or WAP as well.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

I would strongly recommend that you work with your Maximizer Partner if you are intending to setup the Maximizer Wireless Sync Server as the configuration can be extremely complex.
