I had the same annoyance in version 5.0...
When I start maximizer the Company Library is the window staring at me. Preferences are not sticking. Are there any re-indexing utilities I can use? I want the Address Book to be the default window.

Just close the Company Library window. Maximizer should open to the last window that was displayed at program close.

Use the Backup & Restore in Administrator.
