In Max 6, is there a way of preventing a user from changing a view (particularly the *Default views)?
We had a problem where a user changed a view and saved it back as a public view - changing it for everybody. Where can I find help on the way Maximizer handles views? - the on-line help does not seem to cover the problem. |

Unfortunately No, however you can make views Private so no one but you can see or change the view. I like the suggestions though:
Views able to be made private to a group. Adding user security to column views. Have you submitted it to Maximizer? Suggestions@maximizer.com Voted most likely to be a Hill Billy, Mental Patient or Chimpanzee. |
