Hi, We are using Max8 Campaign manager to send emails out thru our Exchange 2003 server, this all works fine, the issue we have is when adding the Merge fields for Logging how many people opened emails and clicked on urls doesn't work, it works if the email is opened internally (behind our firewall) where it know what our Max server name is etc. What I would like to know is has anyone done the same thing but referred to their Max server from outside the firewall and get logging to work? All the urls want to reference our Max Server then the url and this doesn't work and what happens when the email is opened, does it have to link to Redirect.aspx (which resides on Max Server behind firewall) can I put the redirect.aspx on a web server outside the firewall and the same thing will work? Any info greatly appreciated. Thanks David

In order to get the click tracking working you need to have the landing pages setup on an external web server. If you have them setup on your internal server only then they will never work as the click through will attempt to click to your server but will not be able to locate it. If you are looking for a way to do this but don't have the capability to setup your own externally facing web site CABC offer a service called Link Tracker ( https://www.linktracker.eu/) which handles the creating of links and click through's for you.
