I have had to reinstall a PC in the office due to some severe spyware infection and am having difficulty reinstalling the workstaion version of Maximizer CRM 10 Group Edition. Firstly I have found the installation path on the workgroup server PC (\\PCNAME\MxServer\MaxCRMWSInstall)I proceed through setup but when I am asked to browse for my SQL Server name I select PCNAME\MAXIMIZER from the list and it proceeds to check the connection but fails with error message "Login failed. Make sure you entered the correct SQL server name and also use the right credential to connect to the SQL server." My other workstations are using the same SQL server path and are working, but I am obviously missing something on this PC since the clean install. What do I check on the server to verify usernames and passwords, or to add a new one? I am a little confused as to how the credentials can be wrong when it doesn't ask for anything other than the path. Is it a computer name/windows logon username /password issue? Any pointers greatly appreciated. Below is the text from the installation log file. Andy Maximizer_CRM_10.log (4 KB, 145 downloads) insallation log

Hi Andy, The answer is in that install log. The server it is trying to contact is: DELL2\MAXIMIZER\MAXIMIZER When you run the install Maximizer is asking you for the server name not the instance name. All you need to enter is DELL2 and that should solve the problem.
