Printing envelopes in Max 5.0

Yesterday, printing envelopes was working. Today, I get an "out of paper" error on my (networked only for printing--Max 5.0 is stand alone on one computer only)HP LaserJet 6P. Both letters and labels are working OK. Does anyone have a solution? Thanks.

Hi,

This sounds to me as if either, you have updated the printer driver and not reset Maximizer to use the new driver so it is giving a spurious error, if so goto file preferences and select the envelopes tab. Check that the correct printer is selected.

The other possible problem is that Maximizer is attempting to print to the wrong tray on the printer. Then in the same location as before check that Max is trying to print to the tray you would expect. It may also be wise to check that the correct type of paper is selected in the options as well.

If this does not solve the problem please do reply and we will see what else may be the matter.

After resetting all my Network settings, all is working well again.

I have not been able to print envelopes/labels. Checked that the correct printer is selected. And it is.

Prints to the correct tray. All else checks out too.

Goes thru process of printing envelope, but no printing comes on the envelope??

Confused! Have a massive mailout pending!

Need URGENT responce..... ??? help!

Can you print using other applications such as Word or Excel?
In Maximizer can you check that the margins aren't to big, under file>preferences>envelopes

also, it sounds cheeky, but check that the font is not set to white.

If you dont resolve the problem.
