Hi,
I'm trying to export my Maximizer database to SalesForce has anyone done this before? Does it work alrite, where there any problems? I'm having major trouble trying to upload the notes. Also trying to upload the accounts with the contacts so the contacts are automaticly assigned to the right company is this possible? any feedback would be much appreciated Thanks Paul. |

Have you checked with the folks using SalesForce? I think this forum would have more knowledge of importing from SalesForce into Max.
Just a thought - R. |

Probably too late to help you but... I'm exporting from Max6 into SalesForce. SalesForce really wants a strict CSV format, and Maximizer doesn't create that. Support says that they "don't support this method" but if you put each value in quotes separated by a comma then it should work.
I'm running into problems in 2 places: multi-line notes and double quotes in any field. SF basically will import the multiline notes and they look okay, but if there are any double quotes in the data it totally messes it up. Even after changing double quotes to single quotes in every field, if I have multiline notes something is messing up in the SalesForce import and it is hard to track down. My final try is to import the notes separately from the rest of the data. |
