I am doing data enter work at home, for some reasons I can not get access to the maximizer address book at my client's server which make the situation a bit complicated (I can access the server and open the address book floder there, but I cannot set up a "virtual" drive for this folder in my computer such as Z: D: or so, for this reason I cannot creat the address book at server in my computer, am I right?)

We are using Maximizer 9, not the Enterprise one... Now my problem is that people in the company modified the address book information at the server and I modified information in my computer, when I tried to "Transfer" my address book to the one in server, I found that the old information in my address book overwrote the modified information in the target address book (the server one), even the modification in the target address book is made later than the source one.

I read the User Guide and it said Maximizer will compare the date and time and won't overwrite the information that has been modified more recently, but seems it's not true to me?

Is there anything I did wrong? Do I need to upgrade the Maximizer to Maximizer Enterprise so that I can have that MaxExchange to do the work? (by the way, is MaxExchange can help for this?)

Thank you in advance.

Hi Teresa - I think your solution is either MaxExchange to sync multiple copies of the database, or running Maximizer on Terminal Services to allow remote access over the internet to single shared database.

Thank you Rooster. I think I may have to upgrade to Enterprise version then.
