Is there as simple way of making appointments for other users when I am the master user?

I have clients that I fix appoinments for with the reps. If I am logged on as the master user I get the option to have other users attend. I want to be able to review the user diaries an make an appointment with out logging in and out.

First under preferences you must allow access to calendars for each user

When you open up the calendar you will see a drop down list of users. Select your user and make the appointment in the usual way

I am trying to do this on max 9. When I make an appointment for another user it always includes me.

I can "assign" or unassign" other people but my entry always remains ticked.

I have set up the preferences as suggested.
