I am having difficulty with adding contacts to my favorites list. I highlight my new contact after it is entered and saved. I than go up and select View, Add to favorites list, Selected entry, select my favorite list (I only have one) and then hit enter. I than go to view and open the favorites list but it is not there. A related or maybe it is a separate issue is when I sync up to outlook, it says it is doing so successfully. When I open outlook, it has dropped phone numbers or only show the fax numbers. When I open the contact all the numbers are present. I checked the mapped fields and they are correct. This is driving me batty! Help!

What version of Maximizer are you running?

To check what version you running, open Maximizer click on >Help and select >About Maximizer. A About Maximizer window will open there is a section called Component information, can you give me all the information in that section. The problem that you are having could be that your Maximizer is not up-to-date with all the Service Releases and Service packs.

I am running Maximizer 9.0 SP1. I've run the live update feature and it tells me I am up to date on all updates.

The latest release is SP1 for SR1 (Series 1649) just make sure your series number matches with this one (1649).

Sorry I’m not sure what your problem is. I know that the SR’s and SP’s fixes a lot of problems regarding the favorite list. I suggest you try other methods to add contacts to a Favorite list.

Actually, the latest update to Maximizer_9 is SP2 for SR1 (Series 1707). It was released toward the end of February, so if it is not yet available via Maximizer Live Update it should be soon. If you like, you can download it from here:

I also have problems. If I select a list of contacts to add, and right click to add to Outlook favorites, invariably they don't get put into that favorites list when I check afterwards, or only the 1st one or two get put in. I never know if they'll get put in or not.

Me too.

I'm using a udf so I can retry...but this is an unacceptable defect.

If you only want to add one contact to a favorite list, much easier to open this contact record & go up to 'Favorite List' menu at the top and enter it there.
