Presently we have Max 9 and have 5 desktop sharing the same address book. Since old MAX9 used prevasive and the new Max 10 uses MS Sql express, are you still able to share an address book(from one location, UNC Path) between 5 desktops? If so, what is the ver of Max 10 i should get???

We do not want to have a separate SQL server, just make it work like Max 9 did on our own systems...

Hi there, both the Maximizer CRM 10 Entrepreneur and CRM 10.5 Group Editions use the Microsoft SQL Express database engine, the other versions require you have your own SQL Server.

All versions Maximizer CRM 10 and 10.5 support the sharing of address books across a network in a very similar way to the old pervasive system.

If you are running Maximizer 9 (the professional edition that came in the DVD case with the Red text) then Maximizer CRM 10 Entrepreneur edition is logical upgrade, if you are running Maximizer 9.0 or 9.5 Workgroup edition then I would recommend you consider the CRM 10.5 Group edition.
