We used Maximizer Enterprise 8 under Vista for a while and from the beginning noted that the macro recording and playback functionality did not work.
Fine - blame it to Vista. Now, we upgraded to Max Enterprise 9.5 and the same thing happens! No macro recording and playback. The same symptoms... Trying to play back a macro (recorded earlier in Max8 and WinXP): 1. Nothing seems to happen trying to run the macro for the first time 2. "The macro recorder is already recording or playing" if you try to run the macro for the second time Trying to record a macro: After some clicking around, trying to save the macro (F11), the message is: "The selected macro contanis no events to save" Well... Anyone any idea? Roland |

Good Afternoon Roland,
This is a known bug in Maximizer under Windows Vista, it is listed Here as being under investigation. |

This may be a good time to look at a generic macro language like Autohotkey (autohotkey.com). Autohotkey is licensed under GPL.

I will certainly pass your suggestions back to Maximizer.
However you may be looking at this in a slightly different way to Maximizer Software, Maximizer does not create programatic macros, its macro function simply allows the recording and playback of keystrokes and mouse movements/clicks. |
