I installed Quicken 2007 Premier, and now get the dreaded "Please select a DSN for the directory c:\documen~1\...." when MaxAlarm starts and when I start Maximizer. I cannot open any of my databases (including the samples) in Maximizer or Administrator (Enterprise 9.5).

Mad Thanks, Intuit! Mad

Do I need to spend most of a day completely uninstall / reinstalling Maximizer now, or is there another solution? Using the Pervasive Control Center to set a gateway doesn't seem to solve anything.

Does anyone know if Quicken 2007 can successfully coexist with Maximizer?

Things seem more or less back to normal. I didn't uninstall Maximizer. I did try "reinstalling," but that didn't do much.

It seems like the key thing to do is remove Pervasive (from Control Panel\Add Remove Programs) and reinstall it from the Maximizer CD (under 3RdParty\Pervasive\WGE\Setup.exe, I believe).
