We have been running Max 5.1 SQL via Citrix but have now decided to upgrade to 7.5 SQL.From other posts I have read it seems that you really need W2k TS for it to run correctly but we are currently using NT4 TS. So instead of upgrading the server I am thinking about using the new Employee portal, has any one had any experience with this i.e is it reliable,fast/slow, cause any DB problems. Any Help will be most apreciated ! Thanks Simon

Hi, Simon. From my experience the Employee portal works well. However, it is not a substitute for the fat client. It is a way to provide remote users with basic access to the Address Book from (almost) anywhere. If you were hoping to implement the Employee portal for everyday work, I'm sure that your users would find its limitations frustrating. I strongly suggest that you set them up with the fat client, either by MaxExchange or via a Terminal Services solution.

Hi Spelham, Max 7.5 eCRM should work on NT4 TS's, I can remember if I have run it these before, I think so. Goto www.maximizer.org to try out an Employee portal. It may meet you users needs, but as Gord says it is not a replacement for the Thick Client when being used by a Power User. We can customise the Employee portal to your needs if required. Please give us a call on +44 (0)1635 570970 if you have any questions I am sure we can help you out. Rgds CABC Nick Regards CABC Support
