Using Max 10 Entrepeneur
Office 2007

Does anyone know of a problem when trying to save a contact or an email to an addressbook directly from Outlook 2007 using the integrated buttons?

I have defined the addressbook in Maximizer via the Preferences>Other Options>Address Book, and selected a folder in Outlook via Tools>Address Book>Tools>Options>Show this Address list first, but continually get the error "The Maximizer Address Book used for Outlook Integration is not defined. To correct this..." and it most definitely is!

On a Terminal Server I have Outlook 2003, and the integration works fine.

Any ideas?

I remember having this issue and fixing it, but I can't remember exactly what I did.

However, one thing to make sure is correct is 'the show this address list first' option. I had to make sure the address list was an Outlook Address Book and not a Global Address Book in Outlook.

Once I used my 'contacts' address book (default Outlook Address Book) in Outlook all worked fine.

I have checked that, and I have 'contacts' selected. Doesn't seem to make a difference.

I am beginning to think there might a security or permissions issue - the selected database is held on a Windows 2008 Server; maybe Outlook 2007 is blocked in some way (on the client) in accessing whatever it needs.

My Terminal Server is more "intimately" linked to the Windows 2008 Server, which might explain why the problem appears to not exist when running Max 10 and Outlook on the Terminal Server.
