Have been trying to use Outlook 2003 with Max 9 for several days now; but with limited success. The basic read mail and link emails seems to be rock solid. But, I can't seem to use Outlook 2003 to draft emails or read them in Max 9. I believe I have carefully followed all instructions and have read all the KB articles I can find. Is amyone using the Outlook email receive and send successfully?

Not sure exactly what your problem is.
If you're creating emails in Outlook, you will have to manually link them in Maximizer. If you using Maximizer front-end, it cannot do a Send & Receive for you. Hopefully you have Outlook setup to do this automatically. If you have a more specific question, please elaborate |

To be very clear, to use Outlook within Max, go into File > Preferences > EMail and turn on "Read messages using EMail service provider's editor" and "Read messages using EMail service provider's editor", then click Advanced and set your primary EMail system as Outlook/Outlook Express. To use email within Max just open Max and click the Email button on the Icon toolbar - you will then be using Outlook to read/draft an email.
However, if you open and use Outlook directly you will not have the linkage to Max. Does this help? - R. |
