Hey all,

We are busy with testing of maximizer CRM 10 in our test environment, here act some problems with.

First shall i tell what kind of hardware/software is in our test environment:

SERVER:
- Windows Server 2000 (including all recent microsoft updates and service packs)
- IIS 5.0
- ASP.NET (Dotnetfx newest version including newest service packs/fixes)
- Maximizer CRM 10 Group edtion license (3 users)
- Maximizer CRM webaccess license (3 users)
- Microsoft SQL server 2005
- Domain controller

WORKSTATIONS:
- Windows XP SP3 (including all recent microsoft updates and service packs)
- Internet Explorer 8.0
- Maximizer CRM 10 workstation
- Domain client

I setup the whole standard configuration, i have installed the maximizer administrator and created some extra users for our employees, for example i created user "KEVIN" and gave them the most rights.
With this user i can login to the CRM workstation that runs on the windows xp machines, and can work with the crm withoud any problems, i can create some company's, contact persons in my addressbook and i can create some service cases.
If i login with the master user, i can see the created entries that are created by user "KEVIN" so that works fine.

Now i have some problems:
If i browse to the maximizer webaccess and i login with the "MASTER" account i see the created entries in my address book and I can work with the webacces withoud any problems, but if I login with user "KEVIN" on the webaccess and i browse to the "Address Book" i can't see the entries i created before with the same user "KEVIN".
Also internet explorer tells me that i have "1 error on the page", if i click on details i see there is an error on line 311 in the file "AddressBook.aspx"
With user "KEVIN" i can create some entries in the webaccess without any problems, but i can' read them out, when i try that i get the error from internet explorer.

Internet explorer 8:

Internet explorer 7:

What is the problem here?
I hope somebody can help us, we are working on this for days and it still don't work right.

Kevin

Hi there Kevin,

First things I would suggest you un-install IE8 and see if you still get the same problems under IE7.

It sounds like a security issue, try adding the website URL to the trusted zone so it will allow you install all the active x components that the web client uses.

I did what you suggest me above, but i have still the same problems, it looks like a error inside the coding of maximizer, on line 311 stands the following code by the "KEVIN" user:

function OnLoad_MyPage()

When i log in with "MASTER" and i look at line 311 in the source code i see the following:

    <!--Fake closing tag </form>---Header.aspx-ends-here--->

So my conclusion is, there is difference in the source code by the two different users i use, so is the source code by "MASTER" total 488 lines long (AddressBook.aspx) and by user "KEVIN" the source code is total 471 lines long (AddressBook.aspx)

In that case Kevin I would suggest you go back to your Maximizer Business Partner and discuss the issue with them as they should be able to open an escalted case for you with Maximizer Software.

I'm afraid that we are not privy to the workings of the portals at a code level so if you believe the issue to be code related you will need to escalate the problem back to Maximizer Software via your Partner.
