Hi all, Im heading over to a friends to help her upgrade from Max 8 Enterprise to Max 9 Ent.. she's planning on using her desktop primarily, but then will use her laptop once in awhile on the road..

These are the only seats she'll be running.. Ive been doing a little reading and see that I can setup the Laptop as a MaxExchange Remote, but can find nowhere whether I need to install this all as Workgroup or Client / Server.. or, more specifically, if the Synch will work for intermittantly connected remote computers when used in a Workgroup install.

Ive never encountered documentation this poor for software this expensive.. thanks for all the help Maxtalk users..
