Using Max v.7 - when transferring new address book entries into the main database can you transfer multiple notes or are they all condensed into one note?

WHere are they coming from? How are you doing the transfer? When you say "main" database what does that refer to - and what are the non-"main" databases?

I am transferring from new address book entries into an established addressbook. The new entries are in excel or tab-delimited spreadsheets.

Hi Linda - not to be picky, but a Transfer in Max is between Address Books (File > Transfer). Entries coing into an Address Book from an external source (spreadsheet etc.) are being Imported (File > Import). Just to confirm, you are importing these entries, along with associated Notes, into Max from a spreadsheet or CSV file using File > Import?

I do a two step process - import from tab delimited file to an address book, then transfer that addressbook to our company's main address book. So I guess my real question is how to deal with the notes on import.
