once i have deleted my entire data base, is it gone forever?

As a rule yes!

However it really depends on how you deleted the database

If you have deleted the files from within windows then check the recycle bin first, they may be there.

If not then try using the DOS undelete command.

If you deleted the Data using Maximizer, we may be able to retrieve part of the data at CABC using some of our Btrieve Tools.
