When reinstalling a user on Ent 9.5 that was running fine until an error which required a reinstall, when trying to connect to the SQL server during the installation, get a message login failed. Have checked the ODBC system DSN and the test is successful.
This is also happening on the MaxExchange server when the Site manager wants to connect to the database get login to SQL server error, have tried sa and master and made sure that the ODBC System DSN is using the same login name and password |

I've seen something similar to this once before, it was resolved by changing the way the ODBC connection works.
You will need to manually create the MAS_[Database Name] connection using the SQL ODBC Driver, then on the second page click the 'Client Configuration' button and change the Network Libraries option to 'Named Pipes'. Then give it a try. |
