I have 2 Pcs networked together I am tring to set the target path from C:\PVSW\BIN to my directory where my addressbooks are but it keeps defaulting back to C:\PVSW\BIN.
When I enter data onto 2nd pc it doest update it real time but i have to exit and restart maximizer on host to see new info? is this correct? |

Sounds like an odd setup to me, to be honest. I never touch the c:\pvsw\bin setting - that's the Pervasive program files folder!
Try opening Max, then create a new Address Book (File > New Address Book) and point that to the folder where your Address Book is located. Assuming it's shared you should then have it tell you that it's found Max files and ask if it's ok to use them. If you say Yes, then you should now have a shared Address Book pointed at the correct location. - R. |

If you're on Computer A and someone adds a new Adress Book entry or makes a change to one on Computer B, your display on Computer A won't change automatically. For an addition you need to use View > All Address Book entries (or some sort of Search) for it to refresh your current list and incldue the addition. If it's a change to an existing Address Book entry (eg - new address, etc.) I'd guess the same thing would be needed. The View > Refresh menu selection (F5) may do the trick here - not sure.
