On XP Pro each time I try to install Maxi 8 I get the opportunity to install MDAC2.8 then this option continues to appear repeatedly. The system never moves on to allow Maximiser installation - what is wrong?

Try downloading MDAC directly from Microsoft.

Once it's downloaded, install it, restart the computer, and try installing Max again. Should do the trick.
